Good point.

Actually I think I found the problem.  I had to also specify the

ServerName myHostName in the /etc/httpd/conf/httpd.conf file.  I did

so by the following:

ServerName /bin/hostname

That seemed to correct the problem and upon reboot, httpd seems to

have started correctly.
