Is she stating that the files have the cr/lf stripped or the html she is
viewing with her browser is missing line feeds?

Subject: [ale] Strange FTP behaviour????
First of all, let preface this with "this is really, really weird"!
I have a friend who develops web sites and uses a MicroCrap product to do
so....once she is finished editing the file, she then transfers the file to
the apache server running on a RH 6.1 box. FTP Daemon is ProFTPD. At this
point, the files are served by the web server properly, however she *claims*
that all the CR/LF combos are being stripped.
After discussion, she assures me that this only happens on this one server
and that she is using ascii for the transfer protocol. To further make her
(and me as well, I guess) look like a kook, she then claims that this
"process" seems to go from directory to directory....
Does anyone have a clue they can loan to me on how to handle this one?
