First: Shares, do a man on smb.conf and see how a share section is made
or look at your existing smb.conf for examples of different share
sections.
Second: For everyone to have access without a password set Security =
share. This will put the security mode into share mode for WfW (Windows
For Workgroups). The users won't need a password. If you want to
authenticate then security = user means that you have to have a smbuser
on your system and security = server authenticates againsts a password
server like NT. This is commonly called Nt-Pass through. I hope these
will help, once you get familar with the smb.conf you will be amazed at
what you can do.
