I got samba working correctly, see share, create files on shares etc.. But I
am wondering how to get samba ( running on Caldera OpenLinux 2.3) to set the
permissions to read, write, and delete for everyone. Right now only the
person that created that file or dir can delete it. Security is not an
issue. I want to allow anybody (authentication is thru the server) to
read, write, delete files created by anybody else (at least on this particular
share, I have another share that the read, write, delete only by admin/creator
defaults are okay). This is only a temp folder,(not THE tmp folder), just a
temp share I have on a separate harddrive on the linux box. I have set the
mask(s)to 777(is that right?), and set the samba to nt acl allow=true, etc..
Thanks in advance,
