Chances are, your bios could be at fault here.  Perhaps you should try the

century.c program someone posted on the list earlier (sorry, I forget your

name).  Also, have you checked the CMOS battery?  1994 might be the

smallest value of the date your CMOS can hold and if your battery is dead,

the CMOS clock usually reverts to the smallest (earliest) date possible on

every reboot.
