I have three of these cards and they work fine under Linux
(at 10mbps; haven't tried 100mbps). Two of them are on my
masq firewall and handle a good bit of traffic.
The only problem I have is that the initial "ifconfig ethn up"
command ---appears--- to fail. However, the interface does
come up and works properly, and can be successfully
ifconfig'd up and down thereafter. Maybe this is your problem?
Also, it is important to have rev 0.90 or later of the Tulip
driver. My kernel (2.2.12) wouldn't probe the card successfully
with 0.89.
