Has anybody got the HP Colorado (Travan) 8 gig Internal (ide, on /dev/hdd1)
Tape drive to work? I called and talked to HP support, they just told me
that they could not support ide on linux and I was on my own. They only will
help with scsi tape drives. I am running Caldera 2.3 OpenLinux, I installed
the BRU personal edition and I can't seem to get to work. First of all, what
do I do to make linux know that the tape is on /dev/hdd1? What config file
do I edit? I tried to look at the linuxnewbie.org website, but no luck.
Thanks in advance! I just want to schedule a daily full backup and verify of
5 gigs of data.
