The 550-relaying error is generated when sendmail isn't configured to relay message from the domain you are from. Look into the docs about setting up sendmail to only relay from domains that successfully authenticate, to make it easy on yourself, or make make your box a relaying slut by using Feature("promiscuous_relay").

Hi,
I just replaced Exim with Sendmail. So I'm trying to configure
Sendmail after not having used it since 8.8.5 or some such.
I'm getting errors with some mailing lists that look like this:
Jan 5 17:31:52 sylvester sendmail[19446]: RAA19446:
ruleset=check_rcpt, arg1=<d
">sj@DSJ.NET>, relay=">qmaild@mailstop.gwinnett.com [204.89.227.36],
reject=550 <dsj
@DSJ.NET>... Relaying denied
Can someone help me figure out why I'm getting this error and how to
fix it?
