<b>Senior Linux
Engineer and Services Programmer</b>

for a senior Linux engineer and programmer to work on some
exciting
Cloud Services projects.</p>
<p style="margin-bottom: 0in; line-height: 100%">The selected
individual will be an expert in Linux and developing cloud
services
within the linux/Open Source world.</p>
<p style="margin-bottom: 0in; line-height: 100%"><br>
</p>
<p style="margin-bottom: 0in; line-height: 100%">Required Skills</p>
<p style="margin-bottom: 0in; line-height: 100%">Expert in Linux,
currently using CentOS7</p>
<p style="margin-bottom: 0in; line-height: 100%">Deep understanding
of Linux networking</p>
<p style="margin-bottom: 0in; line-height: 100%">Ability to develop
applications using LAMP</p>
<p style="margin-bottom: 0in; line-height: 100%">Understand the
Linux
hardware/software interface</p>
<p style="margin-bottom: 0in; line-height: 100%">Understand Linux
security</p>
<p style="margin-bottom: 0in; line-height: 100%">Solid bsh scripting
skills</p>
<p style="margin-bottom: 0in; line-height: 100%">Able to program in
on of the following: Perl, Python, C, PHP</p>
<p style="margin-bottom: 0in; line-height: 100%">Experience building
network centric applications and services</p>
<p style="margin-bottom: 0in; line-height: 100%">Ability to
understand and use version control, currently we use subversion</p>
<p style="margin-bottom: 0in; line-height: 100%">Can work with
business customers and analysts to understand requirements</p>
<p style="margin-bottom: 0in; line-height: 100%">Work as a member of
a team</p>
<p style="margin-bottom: 0in; line-height: 100%"><br>
</p>
<p style="margin-bottom: 0in; line-height: 100%">As important as
skills (must be deep Linux) are, the enthusiasm you bring to using
Linux and open source tools to build unique and important products
for our customers is of equal importance. You will need to learn
new
things, develop techniques and extend current tools to create
these
new products. You will need to be detailed oriented but with an
eye
of product delivery.</p>
<p style="margin-bottom: 0in; line-height: 100%"><br>
</p>
<p style="margin-bottom: 0in; line-height: 100%">Other Skills</p>
<p style="margin-bottom: 0in; line-height: 100%">Experience with SIP
and VoIP, especially Asterisk, is a plus.</p>
<p style="margin-bottom: 0in; line-height: 100%">Understanding of
Firefox browser coding and extensions a plus.</p>
<p style="margin-bottom: 0in; line-height: 100%">Nagios/Cacti
Monitoring</p>
<p style="margin-bottom: 0in; line-height: 100%">Ansible</p>
<p style="margin-bottom: 0in; line-height: 100%"><br>
</p>
<p style="margin-bottom: 0in; line-height: 100%">This position can
be
contract or perm and has the potential to grow to senior
leadership.</p>
