<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:10.0pt;font-family:"Times New Roman","serif""><u></u> <u></u></span></p><p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:10.0pt;font-family:"Times New Roman","serif"">This position will work with the engineering team as part of the infrastructure team to keep our software flowing from concept through operations and our data flowing from our shoppers to our customers and partners. <u></u><u></u></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:10.0pt;font-family:"Times New Roman","serif""><u></u> <u></u></span></p><p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:10.0pt;font-family:"Times New Roman","serif"">Requirements for the position<u></u><u></u></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:10.0pt;font-family:"Times New Roman","serif"">-Linux shell skills - and of automation with scripting. You know when, and why, to use a 10 line shell script or a python/perl/ruby script with modules.<u></u><u></u></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:10.0pt;font-family:"Times New Roman","serif"">-Development team experience - working closely with development teams while also managing production systems.<u></u><u></u></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:10.0pt;font-family:"Times New Roman","serif"">-Monitoring, configuration management and deployments - diverse experience in monitoring, trending, configuration and deployment management with software like nagios, new relic, graphite, puppet and friends.<u></u><u></u></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:10.0pt;font-family:"Times New Roman","serif"">-CI/CD - will have achieved legit continuous integration and deployment in past gigs, with metaphorical battle scars to relate.<u></u><u></u></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:10.0pt;font-family:"Times New Roman","serif"">-Cloud experience - we're currently migrating into AWS from the Rackspace cloud, the ideal candidate will have some experience with AWS.<u></u><u></u></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:10.0pt;font-family:"Times New Roman","serif"">-Software engineering savvy - will have knowledge and experience of production environments featuring Python, Ruby or Enterprise Java, this is not a software engineering position, but understanding the moving pieces is key.<u></u><u></u></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:10.0pt;font-family:"Times New Roman","serif""><u></u> <u></u></span></p><p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:10.0pt;font-family:"Times New Roman","serif"">Excellent candidates will also have<u></u><u></u></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:10.0pt;font-family:"Times New Roman","serif"">-PostgreSQL - specifically demonstrable experience in various replication strategies and can amaze band astound with tales of exciting and painful lessons learned.<u></u><u></u></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:10.0pt;font-family:"Times New Roman","serif"">-Git Repo management experience.<u></u><u></u></span></p><p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:10.0pt;font-family:"Times New Roman","serif"">-Desktop support experience across OS X, Windows and Ubuntu.<u></u><u></u></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:10.0pt;font-family:"Times New Roman","serif"">-Experience working with vendors such as GoodData, Google Apps, Atlassian and a plethora of monitoring and instrumentation providers.<u></u><u></u></span></p>
