<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:12.0pt; color:#333333">The Senior Engineer is responsible for the operation and management of all production, staging, and development server systems, and industry leading load balancer appliances. Responsibilities
involve planning, designing, and implementing server hardware and software; monitoring of servers and hosted applications/web sites; supporting operational issues that are beyond operations staff; project implementation; providing training and assistance to
users and coworkers. The Senior Engineer is responsible for project planning, cost analysis, and vendor comparisons. The Senior Engineer provides mentoring to the other Internet Services Engineers.</span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:12.0pt; color:#333333">The Senior UNIX and Internet Services Engineer position will work closely with the Development, Systems Support and systems/storage groups. This position is responsible for management and administration
of development and staging environments for the Development, QA and Product Management groups.</span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:12.0pt; color:#333333">* Knowledge of Solaris, UNIX, and Linux (SUSE or Redhat) operating systems.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:12.0pt; color:#333333">* Knowledge of Data Center architecture design and management.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:12.0pt; color:#333333">* System installation and maintenance of Solaris, UNIX and Linux systems.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:12.0pt; color:#333333">* Sun Solaris, Linux (SUSE or Redhat), and general UNIX administration.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:12.0pt; color:#333333">* Administration of DNS, SMTP, FTP, SSH, LDAP, and NFS services.</span></p>

satisfaction.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:12.0pt; color:#333333">* Responsible for new server installations including OS install, raid configuration, and NIC configurations</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:12.0pt; color:#333333">* Knowledge and ability to write scripts for configuration and automation (bash, ksh, perl, python)</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:12.0pt; color:#333333">* Disk volume manager administration.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:12.0pt; color:#333333">* Responsible for troubleshooting various server hardware issues including memory upgrades, hard drive replacement, raid controller replacement</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:12.0pt; color:#333333">* Install, configure, and manage industry leading load balancers including advanced load balancing and load management concepts.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:12.0pt; color:#333333">* Creating, configuring, and tuning java application servers and web servers for development, staging, and production environments.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:12.0pt; color:#333333">* Responsible for design, configuration and maintenance of Apache and Tomcat servers servers.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:12.0pt; color:#333333">* Responsible for content updates and deploying war files into staging and production environments</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:12.0pt; color:#333333">* Perform other duties as assigned by management.</span></p>
