<p class="">SYSTEMS ENGINEER</p>
<p class="">Wellcentive is looking for a systems engineer to join a fast paced dynamic environment to build and support Healthcare HIT platforms. . The systems engineer will be responsible for supporting solutions for infrastructure setup, configuration, automation and caching, primarily on the cloud. This requires an excellent understanding of sound application/infrastructure design, networking, application deployment and management, server provisioning and maintenance, and platform automation.</p>
<p class="">The systems engineer will work closely with open source software architects, support engineers and application developers. The systems engineer will be responsible for the full deployment, infrastructure automation, monitoring of servers, and support for Systems once deployed.</p>
<p class=""><br></p>
<p class=""><u>Requirements:</u></p>
<p class="">* Linux experience (RedHat 6.x/CentOS 5.x & 6.x)</p>
<p class="">* Experience with configuration and management of CDN's (Akamai or level3)<br></p>
<p class="">* Good working knowledge with scripting languages such as, Perl, Python or PHP<br></p>
<p class="">* Apache and Tomcat experience , mod_cluster experience is a plus<br></p>
<p class="">* Jboss 7 middleware <br></p>
<p class="">* Java coding and JVM support<br></p>
<p class="">* Experience with MySQL (Percona)<br></p>
<p class="">* Basic knowledge of HBase and configuration</p><p class=""><br></p>
<p class=""><u>Qualifications</u></p>
<p class="">KNOWLEDGE</p>
<p class=""><br></p>
<p class=""></p><ul><li> BS in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent<br></li><li> 4-7 years experience with linux administration<br></li><li> Application support in a production environment<br></li><li>
Good understanding of relational data stores such as Percona MySQL</li><li> Installation and configuration of JAVA technologies </li><li> Open source software mindset and understanding</li></ul><p></p>
<p class=""><br></p><p class="">SKILLS</p>
<p class=""><br></p>
<p class="">1. Excellent problem solving, with the ability to distill a problem down to one or two key hypotheses and quickly able to validate based on live and experimental data.</p>
<p class="">2. Excellent verbal and written communications skills with the ability to relate with sensitivity to the unique needs and problems of a 24-hour operation with critical deadlines.<br></p>
<p class="">3. Ability to work closely with customers (internal and external) in defining content requirements.<br></p>
<p class="">4. Must be able to manage several active projects simultaneously.<br></p>
<p class="">5. Can work with minimal supervision.<br></p>
<p class="">6. Goal oriented, customer focused, self-starter attitude, not risk adverse<br></p>
<p class="">7. Exceptional interpersonal teamwork skills.<br></p>
