Identify, troubleshoot and resolve issues quickly and effectively, sometimes under pressure.<BR>- Participate in the 24x7 pager rotation for thousands of systems supporting millions of customers in an Internet facing environments.<BR>- Evaluate or develop tools / scripts to facilitate improvement and to support ongoing maintenance of a growing environment.<BR>- Define and write clear and succinct technical documentation related to systems and applications as necessary.<BR>- Install and setup systems as required to support growth and new projects.<BR>- Work well in a team environment and be able to work with and feedback accurate technical information to developers to identify and resolve complex issues.<BR>- Provide recommendations and implement solutions for scalability and performance improvement.<BR>- Minimum 5+ years in Linux systems administration in a large environment (500+ servers).<BR>- Background in Linux, OS X/BSD, Solaris, and networking<BR>- Familiarity with the following: Apache, java, tomcat, postfix, Python, Perl, Ruby, dtrace, tcp analysis tools <BR>- Familiarity with version control systems such as CVS or Subversion<BR>- Jumpstart, Kickstart, DHCP, NetBoot / NetRestore (OS X), DNS<BR>- Good communication skills both written and verbal<BR>- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.<BR><BR><STRONG><EM>Preferred Experience</EM></STRONG>:</DIV>
