<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="color:black">Our client's delivery organization is in need of a Red Hat Linux Engineer for a 6 month plus contract. This engineer will be part of a 12 person team consisting of Linux/Windows/Solaris Engineers, a Web Logic Engineer,
a Technical Writer and a VMware specialist. The Computing and Virtualization Services team needs this engineer to assist with over 100 pipelined projects.<br>

Day to Day Duties: <br>
They will split their time between 50% project based work and 50% operational work. For the project work, they will be working with PMs, Architects, Storage teams, network teams etc to build, configure, install and support new systems for the migrated applications;
they will be the Tier IV (highest) level of support and will troubleshoot any high level issues on the current systems.

MUST HAVES:<br>
6-8 years exp as a Red Hat Linux Engineer<br>
Strong experience with Veritas Cluster Server(VCS) & Veritas Cluster File System (VxFS)<br>
Vmware experience (RH sitting on VMware on Blade servers)<br>
3-4 yrs scripting experience: Perl or Bash or Python (must create from scratch)<br>
Experience building, configuring, installing OS, installing software on RHEL<br>
