<DIV><FONT size=3 face="Times New Roman"><B>SUMMARY</B></FONT><BR><FONT size=3 face="Times New Roman">Identity Management Engineer will work with Cox Identity Management platform that supports the Cox Residential High Speed Data, Telephone, Video, and Wireless product lines and include servers such as Apache web servers, java application servers, identity management policy servers, LDAP Directory servers, back office servers, and any other server included in the customer facing service delivery platforms. They will also facilitate testing of these applications and platforms through the existing Development, Quality, and Load Test environments and provide documentation and best practices for the Technology Operations teams for production deployment. They will also research new technologies and solutions for forward-looking design considerations as the platforms evolve. </FONT><BR> <BR><FONT size=3 face="Times New Roman"><B>RESPONSIBILITIES</B></FONT><BR><FONT size=3 face="Times New Roman">Research and evaluate new applications that will provide new improved feature functionality and efficiencies to optimize the existing infrastructure. This includes working with network and systems engineering teams to provide holistic solutions for future projects.</FONT><BR><FONT size=3 face="Times New Roman">Documentation of system designs, deployment procedures, and troubleshooting procedures.</FONT><BR><FONT size=3 face="Times New Roman">Enforcement of systems standards, policies and procedures in regards to hardware and operating system selection, configuration, and deployment.</FONT><BR><FONT size=3 face="Times New Roman">Research and documentation of application best practices for performance, security, and stability.</FONT><BR><FONT size=3 face="Times New Roman">Capacity planning and hardware sizing.</FONT><BR><FONT size=3 face="Times New Roman">Planning and implementing disaster recovery and high availability for critical systems.</FONT><BR><FONT size=3 face="Times New Roman">Troubleshooting of application, operating system and hardware problems.</FONT><BR><FONT size=3 face="Times New Roman">Ability to communicate effectively with business counterparts. </FONT><BR><FONT size=3 face="Times New Roman">Ability to perform with limited supervision.</FONT><BR><FONT size=3 face="Times New Roman">Ability to manage multiple projects at one time.</FONT><BR><FONT size=3 face="Times New Roman">Assist in the development and implementation of server standards for all new servers.</FONT><BR> <BR><FONT size=3 face="Times New Roman"><B>QUALIFICATIONS</B></FONT><BR><FONT size=3 face="Times New Roman">Requires BS/BA in related discipline (Computer Science/Engineering) and 5-8 years of experience in related field OR MS/MA and 3-5 years of experience in related field. Will consider additional industry related experience in lieu of degree. </FONT><BR> <BR><FONT size=3 face="Times New Roman">Strong oral and written communication skills are required. </FONT><BR> <BR><FONT size=3 face="Times New Roman">Must be extremely comfortable giving both planned and impromptu presentations and handling a constant barrage of questions from both technical and non-technical parts of our organization.</FONT><BR> <BR><FONT size=3 face="Times New Roman">Must be a strong self-starter who is able to think and work independently, seek out new sources of information, develop new skills, take responsibility for testing new designs, and champion new ideas while remaining a cooperative, communicative, collegial, and helpful member of a team. </FONT><BR> <BR><FONT size=3 face="Times New Roman">Must be comfortable working in a team environment</FONT><BR><FONT size=3 face="Times New Roman">Minimum of 3 years Solaris or Linux system administration or system architecture experience. </FONT><BR> <BR><FONT size=3 face="Times New Roman">Experience with working with an ISP web / java server environment (Apache, JBOSS, Tomcat, interacting with Oracle databases, multi-tiered load balanced environments). </FONT><BR> <BR><FONT size=3 face="Times New Roman">Experience configuring any of the before-mentioned applications with IPv6 is a plus.</FONT><BR> <BR><FONT size=3 face="Times New Roman">Experience with Computer Associate's (CA) Identity Manager and Siteminder software</FONT><BR> <BR><FONT size=3 face="Times New Roman">Understanding of TCP/IP Networking including OSI Model and basic UNIX system level network troubleshooting skills.</FONT><BR> <BR><FONT size=3 face="Times New Roman">Script development with bash and/or Perl is a plus.</FONT><BR> <BR><FONT size=3 face="Times New Roman">Software development experience using Java is a plus but not required </FONT></DIV>
