configuration tasks relate to what they called hardening Linux-making it so
other people can't access features they are not supposed to. There are
USB ports on the back of the product. Configure the product so a hacker
wouldn't be able to plug into the USB port and access information they
shouldn't have. Make it so it only runs on their application. In
the end making the product more secure. Second they want them to be able
to do the Linux Kernel tuning in order to get the most performance from the
