Are you a smart Linux/HPUX professional who loves the challenge of jumping into complex server layouts? We need you!

We have a 3-6 months' contract available immediately for up to 3 Linux Administrator professionals. You'd be working in a relaxed environment with great work/life balance as their Linux admin. We are looking for someone who brings a solid understanding of UNIX/Linux operating systems and works well in a collaborative, team environment.

What we'll need from you:
*         The Fundamentals - a solid knowledge base of Linux, HPUX, VMware, SAN, HP DataProtector, Veeam Backup and Replication, Shell Scripting, LAMP, Nagios, and HP ServiceGuard.
*         Maintain UNIX/Linux environment, including servers, SAN and related applications or systems.
*         We need you to know how to create filesystems from command line, use the vi editor to modify config files and apply software packages with rpm. (If these things don't make sense to you, this is not the role for you.)
*         Experience with upgrades, patches, and backups of applications utilizing established release procedures.
*         Provide tier 2 technical systems support as needed.
*         A working knowledge of managing bug fixes and proven successes troubleshooting systems issues.
*         The Background - 4-7 years as a dedicated Linux Admin who has had a broad range of responsibilities.
Bachelor's or higher in an applicable field.
*         The Bonuses - Working knowledge of SAN i.e. EMC, NETapp, clustered failover and disaster recovery process and procedures.

3-6 month's contract rate $40-$50/hr. w-2
