We are seeking an experienced Systems Engineer to be responsible for the architecture, design, development and integration of Asterisk-based communications functions for multiple application solutions.  This opportunity is in Atlanta, GA and is an immediate, full-time, permanent placement.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

·         Architect the design of Asterisk-based services to provide important functions for company solutions  

·         Design implementations in both private cloud and public cloud, and integrations with current and future applications

·         Design specific configurations and modifications to the Asterisk server to meet individual project requirements

·         In conjunction with application developers, prepare implementation plans and schedules

·         Modify the Asterisk source code as necessary to implement specific functions and to integrate with company applications

·         Support application developers in integrating and testing Asterisk implementations with overall systems

·         Maintain Asterisk environment in all instances 

·         Administer the company Asterisk environment 

·         Provide Tier 3 technical support for production Asterisk systems

QUALIFICATIONS:

·         Bachelors required, Masters appreciated

·         Minimum 5 years in designing and implementing Asterisk-based systems

·         Minimum 10 years in application development

TECHNICAL QUALIFICATIONS: 

 Intimate knowledge of the Asterisk system, including source code 

 C/C++ 

 Linux 

 .NET environment (C#) preferred 

 Strong network programming skills (TCP/IP / sockets) preferred
